Field Demonstration of Distributed Quantum Sensing without Post-Selection

Distributed quantum sensing can provide quantum-enhanced sensitivity beyond the shot-noise limit (SNL) for spatially distributed parameters. To date, experiments have been mostly accomplished in laboratory environments without a real space separation sensors. In addition, post-selection is normally assumed to demonstrate advantage over SNL. Here, we field and show unconditional violation (without post-selection) of SNL up 0.916 dB distance 240 m. The achievement based on loophole free Bell test setup with entangled photon pairs at averaged heralding efficiency 73.88%. Moreover, life, experiment long distances (with 10-km fiber) together completely random unknown parameter. results represent an important step towards practical network widespread applications.
